On a sunny yet chilly day in Rodger’s Park I spotted this rambler strutting her stuff from class to class in this fun ensemble. For our winter weather in April she has pulled together all the right elements to change up her winter wardrobe a bit without being too springy. By adding the floral crop top, a lighter coat and the fun, red cowboy boots we are starting to see people want to change up their layering a bit and lean towards new spring trends.
I love her playful red cowboy boots. These may have been one of those spontaneous purchases in life where you know that item is going to forever change your wardrobe, and you will want to work it into as many outfits as you can. Her style I would say is eclectic and urban and girls all over campus are going to envy her daring choice to wear these red boots.
To find a trendy pair of cowboy boots like this may be a search and you might have some good luck at re-sale or vintage stores but check out these places online where you’ll be able to order them up and be rocking it out on your own campus in no time. Nordstrom carries these beautiful Ariat ’Billie’ boots which are too cute to be true. Another pair with the western detailing are these crochet boots from Free People which would be so cute with denim shorts.
ON THE RUNWAY: Her whole vibe reminded me of Isabel Marant’s fall 2012 ready-to-wear collection with that sort of rocker edge tied with western cowboy boots.
